Fonts are a huge fingerprinting vector. We built a font allowlist and font-visibility controls; by design, Firefox's fingerprinting protection avoids using your locally installed one-off fonts on the web. This dramatically shrinks the entropy of "which fonts do you have?" without breaking normal sites. While many browsers do this now, telemetry has helped us continue to improve these defenses and I'm pretty sure we're still the only one that has a font allowlist for Android.

The alternative, push-button solvers that return a binary pass or fail with no intermediate state, gives AI nothing to learn from and no way to guide the search. Worse, proofs that rely on heuristic solvers often break when the solver updates or when developers make small changes to how they write their specifications, even when the changes are logically equivalent. You cannot build a reliable AI pipeline on a foundation that is not reproducible. (I discuss this in detail in a recent Stanford talk.)
DiscussionThis report introduces a new measure for understanding the labor market effects of AI and studies impacts on unemployment and hiring. Jobs are more exposed to AI to the extent that their tasks are theoretically feasible with LLMs and observed on our platforms in automated, work-related use cases. We find that computer programmers, customer service representatives, and financial analysts are among the most exposed.
